The FMU Performing Arts Center offers fully accessible seating to patrons. To ensure accessible seating, please contact the Box Office with any additional needs or concerns well in advance of the performance.

Assisted Listening Devices:

The FMU Performing Arts Center offers FM assisted listening devices available for hearing impaired patrons. Please contact the Box Office to reserve assisted listening devices well in advance of the performance. On the evening of the event, please go to Coat Check for assisted listening devices.  To obtain a headset, a driver's license or major credit card will be required and then returned upon receipt of the equipment at the end of the performance.

Cameras and Recording Devices:
Broadcasts, telecasting, recording or reproducing any rehearsal, performance, or parts thereof in or about the premises is not permitted without the prior express written consent of the Center and Artist or Artists’ agency by U.S. Copyright Laws.

Children's Attendance Policy:

We understand that occasionally you may wish to bring younger children to a show.  We believe in exposing young people to the performing arts at an early and appropriate age. However, unless an event is designated for younger audiences, children under the age of 5 years will not be admitted to events at the FMU Performing Arts Center.  As a courtesy to other patrons and the performers, children talking or moving around in a manner that is distracting may be asked to move or leave the theatre.   An adult must accompany children under the age of 12.  All bodies in the theatre must have a ticket.

Concessions will be provided in the Lobby when events have intermissions.  No food or beverages will be permitted in any of the seating and performance areas of the indoor venues.

Late Seating:

Late seating will occur during a suitable pause in the program. Until that time, audience members will be held outside in the Lobby.  As a courtesy to others, those who exit the theater during the performance will not be admitted back into the auditorium until a suitable pause as well.

Lost and Found:

Lost articles will be stored in the Box Office. The PAC will make every effort to reunite such articles with their owner.  To inquire about personal belongings that may have been left in the theater, call (843)661-4444.

Parking for the FMU Performing Arts Center is available in the City of Florence parking lot located on Cheves Street north of the Center.  Additional parking is available courtesy of St. John Episcopal Church on Dargan Street, Central United Methodist Church on Irby Street, DHEC on Evans Street, and Harrington Vision Center and the Department of Mental Health on Cheves Street.

The FMU Performing Arts Center and its grounds are designated as tobacco-free.

What To Wear:

Some people enjoy dressing up and others feel more comfortable in a nice pair of jeans. Feel free to make your own clothing choices so that you can best enjoy the performance.
