The FMU Performing Arts Center (PAC) is available for performances, private functions, and corporate events. The PAC features several elegant spaces that can accommodate your special event. These spaces are perfect for:
- Wedding receptions
- Rehearsal dinners
- Other private/corporate events
People can make requests for spaces beginning on the first business day in May of the previous season. For example, anyone who wishes to rent the facility from July 2017 to June 2018 may make a request beginning May 1, 2017.
Before you contact us, please:

3. Print out the Space Request Form and complete it (link is below). Be sure to include the date and time of your event (include 1st and 2nd choices for dates), the venue(s) you are most interested in, and the details of the event
Please mail your completed Space Request Form to FMU Performing Arts Center, 201 South Dargan Street, Florence, SC 29506. You may deliver the completed form to the PAC Box Office. If your rental involves a performance, you will also need to complete a Ticketing Services Request Form.
Within 7 to 10 business days, a PAC employee will contact you and let you know if we can successfully accommodate your event. Once you are on the calendar, the PAC Director will contact you to assess your labor and technical needs and complete a cost estimate for your event. An Event Agreement will then be created. An 80% deposit is due no later than two weeks before the event, and 25% of that deposit must be paid at the time the agreement is signed.
